An employment law attorney is seeking an attorney for contract legal research and writing assignments, primarily in the area of Federal sector employment law. This is an unpaid position.

Duties include research and writing, interviews, and a wide range of other legal tasks, and, additionally, clerical and administrative tasks as needed. The employment law attorney requires assistance in assembling hearing exhibits, creating discovery document logs, and other paralegal assistance related to ongoing employment law cases before the EEOC, Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), and local Federal courts. A capable candidate will have further opportunities to draft briefs, complaints, and memoranda of law. If you are a member of the bar, you will have the opportunity for client contact and to appear in court and before administrative agencies.
Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and have strong research and writing skills as well as a pleasant attitude and willingness to take initiative. A successful candidate should be available to work a minimum of 15 hours a week while producing top notch work.
