While many of our clients are in the Denver area, we service nonprofits up and down the Front Range from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins. This position offers considerable potential for advancement and a significant amount of flexibility when compared to traditional CPA firms. We estimate that you will be required to be present in our Denver office 1-2 days/week and at the client's location as required during audit fieldwork. The rest of this full-time position can be performed remotely (e.g. a home office).

Job Description
• Participate in audit, review and compilation engagements from planning through issuance.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, evaluate internal controls, and communicate effectively with clients.
• Develop audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives.
• Obtain and review evidence ensuring audit conclusions are well-documented.
• Prepare Form 990s for clients.
• Develop staff and provide on the job training.
• Ensure adherence at all times to firm and professional standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

The successful and ideal candidate will possess:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and working towards or eligible to sit for the CPA Exam (CPA Licensure is desirable, but
not required).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Demonstrated skills and experience in managing goals through collaboration and teamwork.
• Comfort level and preference for working within a small firm environment.
• Exposure to accounting for not-for-profit organizations desirable but not mandatory.
• Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required
• Experience with Creative Solutions/Engagement CS and UltraTax software desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to apply problem solving techniques
• A GREAT and POSITIVE attitude, outstanding client service skills, and a desire to learn and grow!
