This isn't "experienced" as in "lots of certs" -- we're looking for actual time in the trenches. We want people who can comprehend the big picture of how networks are built and how multiple and complex applications flow over the network, and then drill into the details when work requires it.
You'll need to be a motivated, self-starting problem solver. You should be able to handle your projects and tasks on an ongoing basis without a lot of direction. You need to be able to look at a problem, build a plan, then execute it. You'll have help when you need it, but we are looking for somebody who is mostly self-managed and can prioritize their own tasks, and ask for help when you're overloaded or need additional expertise.
Last, you need to fit in with our team. We're seasoned professionals with decades of experience in our field. We've seen it all and we'll know if you've got what it takes. Our senior staff members have all been with the company for over a decade -- we stick around because we love it here. This is a great place for people who want to find a home and stay for a while.
